LTTL 8:52... a lamp in the woods
Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening
By Robert Frost
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
~ I love Robert Frost
~ I love this light in our woods right now... actually, it is along the new street behind our house, but it looks like A Lion, The With, and The Wardrobe lamppost.
~ I love this lone tree that still is holding on to its fall leaves
~ I love snow.
~ I cannot help myself, I have to share two of the LTTL posts from last week... I featured two posts at our Pinterest board too.... First, Jill from Daily Bread, and second, Life at 139A by Stephanie. They both took me on a little cyber mini-vacation, which I needed this week. I love cyber vacations around the world. :-D
