life thru the lens 9:52... a real snowy day
It began to snow here late Saturday afternoon. The weather report went from expecting several inches, to expecting nothing too much, and then back to expecting several inches, and finally we have winter in our area. We received an accumulation of 7 1/2 inches and boy, oh boy, are we happy.
The Thinker and I went on a "snowdate" to celebrate. We had a yummy lunch, and then headed for some warm coffee, and finally we headed for a ride in the snow. I knew exactly where I wanted to go.
I spotted this little gem on the way home one day. I decided to take a road that I had never been down to see where it went and as soon as I saw it I knew it had to be photographed in the snow.
THE RED BARN
I kind of have a barn obsession. Matter of fact, I would love to drive across the country just so that I could try to capture as many barns in different environments as I could.
I am also on a bit of a red obsession. I am thinking of starting a project where each month I search for a specific color. I was thinking of linking it to Life Thru the Lens on Instagram... what do you think? Would you want to join me?
